And<br \/>\nalso, I would appreciate it if you would send me copies of<br \/>\nany of the near-misses. It seems to me that I remember a<br \/>\nfew poems, recent ones, not the old \u201csexist\u201d ones, that you<br \/>\nhave left out. I am wondering if I can see a place for them,<br \/>\nand argue with you. But maybe I would not want to.<\/p>\n<p>Why do you have so few lines on a page? Does one of the<br \/>\ncontests demand that you only have so many lines on a page?<br \/>\nIt has the curious affect of seeming to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">thin<\/span> a rather solid<br \/>\nand bulky manuscript. Maybe that number of lines suggests<br \/>\ndouble-spacing.<\/p>\n<p>I am going to wait, for further conversation, until I<br \/>\nhear from you.<\/p>\n<p>Did I tell you in my last letter \u2013 I cannot remember whether<br \/>\nI wrote you a note a week ago or not\u2026maybe I did\u2026maybe this<br \/>\nweek\u2026 &#8211; that Jane\u2019s father died last Friday?
