Sutton, NH 03260<\/p>\n<p>Dear Wes,<\/p>\n<p>Many thanks for the letter and the poem.<\/p>\n<p>Probably you know that Jim Wright died<br \/>\nyesterday morning. He had cancer, and would<br \/>\nonly have suffered terribly for a few months,<br \/>\nif the cancer had taken its predicted course.<br \/>\nPneumonia cut him off. I was with him last<br \/>\nSaturday, and it was terrible. I was with him<br \/>\ntwo weeks before also. Jim knew he was going<br \/>\nto die, when I saw him Saturday. Sometime I<br \/>\nwill tell you about it. It is difficult to<br \/>\ntalk about.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m terribly pleased that you like <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">String<\/span><br \/>\nso much, and that it led you back to the poems<br \/>\nand that they held up too. Thank you so much<br \/>\nfor telling me! I saw Diane yesterday and she<br \/>\ntold me about reading <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">String<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>I need these things!
