\nif she doesn\u2019t mind a rather skimpy honorarium
\nof $50. The date and time: September 27 at
\n7:30 PM. I assume that the place will be
\nAlumnae lounge, where you read. I will let you
\nknow soon.<\/p>\n

I enclose a copy of \u201cThe Thin Man\u201d \u2013 hope
\nyou like it. I hope \u201cHair on Television\u201d will

\nPlease let me know if $50 is OK. Perhaps
\nI could get more if I were in charge
\nof reading this year, but I\u2019m not, and $50
\nseems to be the limit.<\/p>\n

he dreamed of drowning
\nunder its lakes

Oh the thin man
\ntrying to get out

locked breasts

to tables

into the groaning

to a mirror
