All you have to do
\nto see how close we are
\nto creatures who do not frown

is to observe a man holding
\nhis fingers awkwardly
\naround a pen as he drags it

\nhow troublesome it is
\nto be a human being dressed up
\nis watch a man keep<\/p>\n
tucking in his shirt
\nwhich the body pushes
\nout of his pants as he walks,
\nor look at his misshapen shoes<\/p>\n
kicked over beside the bed
\nas he lies fast asleep.
\nEntering hs dream
\nof himself as a creature<\/p>\n
without his clothes
\nis all you have to do to know
\nhis loneliness, walking into room
\nafter room where no one<\/p>\n
understands him, trying
\nto cover himself with his hands.\n
