&#8211; The Button"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>The Button<\/h2>\n<p>It&#8217;s not easy to button the top<br \/>\nbutton on the dress shirt<br \/>\nof an old man, his chin back,<\/p>\n<p>his helpless hands<br \/>\ndangling at his sides<br \/>\nimagining themselves<\/p>\n<p>doing what they&#8217;re now&nbsp;<br \/>\nunable to do as you struggle,<br \/>\nclose enough you share<\/p>\n<p>his labored breath<br \/>\nand feel the growing<br \/>\ndistance between what<\/p>\n<p>he wants and cannot have,<br \/>\nand the distance<br \/>\nhas become you,<\/p>\n<p>not done with him and this<br \/>\nsmall,
