He is a brave and generous<br \/>\nfellow I think. I remember him at<br \/>\nFairfax Court House and the little<br \/>\nscene in the street when an orderly<br \/>\nreported himself with a deserter<br \/>\nfrom the rebels. It was exceedingly<br \/>\ninteresting.<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">Still<\/span> the loss of a brigade<br \/>\ndrill which the General felt much<br \/>\nat first was more than compensated<br \/>\nfor by the drill afterward of a<br \/>\nregiment in connection with a battery<br \/>\nof artillery. The drill was reported<br \/>\nagain this afternoon &#8211; and it has<br \/>\nset them all to thinking.<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">Genl.<\/span> Barry attended us this<br \/>\nmorning. Capt.
