\nat the church in season to
\nhear some excellent music before
\nthe happy couple arrived entered.
\nBrides maids + grooms appeared
\nto be very happy.
\nRodgers<\/span> looked splendid
\n+ the whole affair was conducted
\naccording to the most approved
\nfocus of the 5th. Avenue. Suppose [?]
\nThe<\/span> pews on either side of
\nthe middle aisle up which
\nthe couple passed were crowded<\/p>\n

with very good [carrot<\/em>: looking] representatives of
\nthe fair sex. I got a fine seat in
\nthe corner of the church, and
\nfrom behind one of the columns
\nI looked with safety at them
\nall. Although I was without the

\nin which all the gentlemen flourished
\nstill I don\u2019t believe one of them
\nwished for the bride a happy future
\nmore sincerely than I. Because
\nI knew Rodgers.

Last<\/span> Evening went to see pictures
\nat \u201cThe Artist Aids fund society.\u201d
\nLiked Rosa Bonheim\u2019s picture. Centre
\nfigure of horse, especially his head,
\nvery natural. How his eye glares as
\nhe struggles with the bit. Light + shade
\nbeautifully + strikingly shown in the
\nexecution of one of the pair of horses
\non the right. How natural the attitudes
\nof the two men to the left fixing the
\nbridle! A glorious triumph [carrot:<\/em> of Art] evident
\neven to me.
\n“<\/span>Open your eyes + shut your mouth.\u201d
\nis<\/span> very good.<\/p>\n
