Unwell<\/span> + nearly wasted.
\nA mutiny occurred aboard
\nthis ship today. Drunken Irishman,
\none of the crew raises an axe
\nagainst 2nd. officer who takes it
\naway from him. Thereupon he
\ndraws his knife and stabs the
\nofficer in the thigh. The officer
\nescapes to his room from which
\nhe issues with a revolver that
\nemisses [?] fire. The infuriated seaman
\nrushes upon him but is held back
\nby the 1st. officer. The Capt. appears
\nwith a drawn sword + strikes him
\nin the face. The seaman turns upon
\nthe Capt. but is intimidated by the
\nresolute tone with which he threatens
\nto sun him through and upon being
\nordered to give up his knife<\/p>\n

\nand will probably be put in
\nprison for two or three years if
