Gulf stream because<br \/>\nflowing from the Gulf<br \/>\nII. Course; along Atlantic<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">Coast<\/span> as far as Cape<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">Race<\/span>, then shoots across<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">trans<\/span> into the French<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">coast<\/span> somewhere + falls<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">down<\/span> along the Spanish.<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">Consequently<\/span> quick trips<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">are<\/span> made when the<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">steamers<\/span> going to Europe<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">get<\/span> into the Gulf.<br \/>\nIII. Temperature of water<br \/>\nvery warm.<br \/>\nIV. Current runs from one<\/p>\n<div style=\"height: 10px;\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>Page 16:<\/p>\n<div style=\"height: 10px;\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>to three knots.<br \/>\nV. Stream from forty<br \/>\nto seventy miles wide.<br \/>\nVI. Color of water black inkish &#8211;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin-left: 58px;\">* * *<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">The<\/span> mare is in fine<br \/>\ncondition this morning, the<br \/>\nswelling has gone down, and<br \/>\nnow I am more hopeful<br \/>\nthan ever of getting her<br \/>\nthrough safe.<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">But<\/span> my advice is, if<br \/>\nyou have a good animal<br \/>\nthat you don\u2019t want to<br \/>\nhave spoiled never attempt<br \/>\nto make a sea voyage like<br \/>\nthis with her.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height: 10px;\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">&#8220;Tony&#8221;<\/span> is a Good boy.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height: 10px;\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>Page 17:<\/p>\n<div style=\"height: 10px;\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>Johnnie is not inclined<br \/>\nto laugh much this morning<br \/>\nat me for my sea sickness.<br \/>\nThe poor boy is sick, himself<\/p>\n<div style=\"height: 10px;\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"margin-left: 58px;\">2nd.<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"height: 10px;\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>Delightful weather.
