\nYour kind letter is
\nat hand and I hasten to reply.<\/p>\n
I send you 24 copies of the protest, 18 for
\nthis $2.00 after deducting 20 cts for postage, and
\nsix that were due you on the other account.
\nI was intending to send the latter in a
\nfew days. It is very gratifying to me that
\nMr. Hanson thinks it worthy of a wider cir-
\nculation. I think myself that something ought to
\nbe done for the good cause of co-education, and
\nif it can be done through the wider circulation
\nof the protest I shall be more than glad.
\nThe girls have responded very slowly and in-
\ndeed I have not written to all of them. It was
\nenough for me if I could just pay the bill
\nat the printing office.<\/p>\n
I have not sent out any more since I wrote<\/p>\n
you last except those that I have sent to the
\nalumnae. The college girls took eight. I have
\nbeen giving a few copies to personal friends on
\nmy own account. I have now 15 left and prob-
\nably I shall dispose of those easily, if not I will
\nkeep and pay for them myself. With your
\nkind assistance I shall soon be able to pay
\nthe balance due at the office.<\/p>\n
There is another hundred at the Mail Office
\nthat anyone can have for $3.00. Mr. Wing
\nprinted them at his own expense and told
\nme I could have them for that.<\/p>\n
If you should send directly to him, he would
\ndoubtless mail them to you at once or, if you
\nwish I will see him about them.<\/p>\n

No, I do not think it too late to send it
\nto the alumni and think it would be a very
\ngood plan, but some of them, you know, have<\/p>\n
already received it as Trustees.<\/p>\n

\nget your copies all distributed.<\/p>\n
I will send to Drs. Dunn and Spencer, if they
\nhave none.<\/p>\n
We move to Augusta very soon and I go
\ninto the Library to assist my husband. It
\nwon\u2019t be much farther from Colby and I shall
\ntake just the same interest and come up to
\nCommencements as usual, I hope.<\/p>\n
I hope I may see you at Augusta some
\ntime, in the spring, perhaps. Hoping you will
\nenjoy your stay in Boston I am as ever<\/p>\n
