Pray was born in Brunswick, Maine, on April 26, 1866. She graduated from Colby in 1887, a Sigma Kappa member, president of the girls\u2019 division of the Y.M.C.A., and an active Baptist on campus. \u201cMollie\u201d was a teacher from 1887 to 1898, returning to Colby for a master\u2019s degree and graduating in 1890. She then enrolled at the University of Chicago as a graduate student from 1898 to 1899. She died February 1, 1913, in Mattawan, Michigan at age 46.
