Colby 1893, A.B.Katherine Berry Tilton was born in Houlton, Maine. She enrolled at Colby in 1890. At Colby she was a member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority. Following Colby she lived and taught in Houlton, Maine until 1897. In 1954, Mrs. Tilton suffered a “serious mental breakdown.” She spent the rest of her life in a mental hospital in Grafton, Massachusetts.
