Colby 1892, A.B.
Grace Maria Cummings was born in Essex, Connecticut. She enrolled in Colby in 1889. Following Colby, she attended Leland Stanford University from 1901-1902 as a graduate student. She also took classes at Grenoble and University of Paris from 1909-1909. She spent most of her life doing literary and social work. She resided in Washington, D.C.
