It has been terribly
stormy all day, and so I have
spent the chief part of the time in
my tent. Have written a letter to Barnas [?]
Sears, who lives in Monson.

Am studying Acts. Oh that I could
devote more of my time to the study
of God’s words!

“We ought to obey God
rather than man.”
Because He is
1. Our creator
2. Our supporter
+
3. Our saviour [sic]
