Went on Reconnaissance
takin 3rd. Del + 3rd. Md.
Started about 4½a.m.
Reached Charlestown about
8 ok. There the 3rd. Del
and 3rd Md. were left +
Gen. J was placed in command
of the 3rd Brigade,
moved forward on the
right + left of Berryville road.
11½ a.m. resting on the road.
3 miles from Charlestown.
