1. A number of you have asked about listening to music during Sefirah this year. In light of the emotional challenges of our current situation, I would encourage those who feel listening to recorded music would be helpful to do so.<\/p>\n

2. Being that Shabbos and Rosh Chodesh coincide this week, I would encourage individuals to shave and\/or take a haircut this Friday in honor of the doubly prominent day, even if one has been observing the mourning practices since the beginning of Sefirah (there are different opinions regarding this question).<\/p>\n
