Australian painter William Blundell is most widely known for his copies done in the style of William Dobell, Arthur Boyd, Sidney Nolan, Lloyd Rees, Arthur Streeton, Russell Drysdale, Charles Blackman, Pablo Picasso, and Jackson Pollock. He calls his copies \u201cinnuendos\u201d and argues against the idea that he was ever mass-producing fakes. He insists that he made them solely for decorative purposes and not to deceive collectors. Despite this claim, many of Blundell\u2019s creations have found their way onto the open market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
