O Level, British Council, Cairo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Present<br \/>\n<\/strong>Saad currently\u00a0works\u00a0as a Professor of Anthropology at her alma mater the American University in Cairo. In addition to that she is also an editorial board member of Cairo Papers in Social Science, Contributing Editor for MERIP (The Middle East Research and Information Project), which was one of the sources we looked at in the news analyses, Member of the International Advisory Board for the Journal of Peasant Studies, and Contributing Editor for the Review of African Political Economy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Topics of Study<br \/>\n<\/strong>Saad&#8217;s academic interests are rural Egypt, Historical Anthropology, Culture and Ethnographic film. Her publication history shows she is also very interested in issues of economic inequality and women\u2019s rights.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Publications<br \/>\n<\/strong>See Reem Saad&#8217;s <a title=\"Reem Saad\u2019s CV\" href=\"http:\/\/web.colby.edu\/contemporary-issues\/reem-saads-cv\/\" target=\"_blank\">CV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lack of Publications On Egyptian Revolution<br \/>\n<\/strong>In all articles in the journal of<em>\u00a0Cultural Anthropology<\/em>, titled &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.culanth.org\/?q=node\/496\" target=\"_blank\">Reflection on the Egyptian Revolution<\/a>&#8220;. Saad shares how deeply the Revolution impacted both Egypt and herself, noting that while she&#8217;s an anthropologist, she chose not to write anything about the revolution that would be published.
