Robinson (&#8216;1906). At Colby, Dana distinguished himself in athletics, particularly track and cross-country. He was also active as a sports reporter for the Colby Echo. During WWII, Dana served in the U.S. Navy, briefly leaving Colby in 1945. Upon returning, Dana graduated from Colby in 1947.
