I think after reviewing both I side with the decision to make Lorenzo Ghiberti&#8217;s piece the winner. First of all, the order of the piece seems to make more sense to me and the more dramatic positioning of the knife paired with the contrapposto of both Abraham and Isaac lead to a more riveting depiction. Also, the positioning of the lamb at the same level as the angel sort of adds to the piece as the lamb will be the eventual sacrifice instead of Isaac. Further, Donatello&#8217;s piece the <em>Feast of Herod<\/em> was enlightening in terms of an example of a continuous  narrative.
