UCantDrawJohnny, in conversation with Anosacha Peete-Meyers

Johnny Rey Davis, otherwise known as UcantdrawJohnny is a Houston-based artist and illustrator. Johnny is a prolific artist who wears many hats: an activist, a rapper, a father, a generational change. Inspired by the people around him who have struggled, Johnny’s work has gone internet viral over the several years he’s put in to perfecting his craft and expanding his creative capabilities. He has been praised by major intellectual influencers of our time like Charlamagne tha God. Instead of waiting for things to happen for him, he prides himself on making them happen. He isn’t afraid to expose the hypocrisy running rampant in society or face the criticism associated with the role- he in fact welcomes the criticism because he sees an opportunity to grow.  Contact Johnny on his website: www.ucantdraw.com or on his Instagram @ucantdrawjohnny.
