Elizabeth Jabar, in conversation with Marissa Pitter

Elizabeth Jabar is currently the director of civic engagement at Colby College, but she has well-established roots in Waterville. Her grandfather was a labor union organizer and instilled in her the need to work for the common good. In this interview, we touch on how Jabar has taken that advice and integrated that into her work as a printmaker, her collaborative project “Future Mothers,” and her latest project, Hinge Collaborative, a printmaking studio and community arts initiative in Waterville.
