News and Results


On October 18th the team competed at the University of New Brunswick. The Women’s team came in 3rd with wins in Super Swede and underhand chop.

On September 20th the team competed at the annual Unity College Woodsmen meet. The women’s A team won and everyone had a great day.

In April, the team competed at the annual Woodsmen’s Weekend, held this year at Dartmouth College. The women’s team came in first for the Northeast Conclave, winning an impressive 10 out of 19 events! Christopher Krasniak ’16 placed second in the Stihl Collegiate competition.

August 7, 2015: Team members and alumni performed a demonstration of old time logging skills including chopping and axe throw for over 100 people at the Forest Heritage Days in Greenville, ME. It was a beautiful day and fun was had by all and the audience even had a chance to participate.
