Here are some photos of their adventure. Colby students and animators of the Salamanca program during the trip to Galicia and Portugal. This was taken at the boat ride through the Rias Baixas in Galicia. The excursion included tasting mussels. With the Statues of Las Dos Marias at Alameda Park, in Santiago de Compostela. A boat ride on the canal of Aveiro to complete the journey. Amanda, with Sara and Bea, animators for the Salamanca program in Oporto at María Pía bridge, popularly known as the Eiffel Bridge. Colby students and animators for the Salamanca program visiting The Monumental City of Cáceres ( Extremadura ) in February. This was taken at the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in which the Camino de Santiago ends, whose famous pilgrimage is made by people all over the world.
