Conferences and Training

The Maine Concussion Management Initiative holds several introductory and advanced training sessions each year.  Here are details on our forthcoming October 25th training in Portland, Maine.


MCMI Level 2 Training


MCMI Training Programs – Level 1 and Level 2 – October 25

When and where held:

On October 25, 2016, the Maine Concussion Management Initiative will present Level 1 and Level 2 Training as the Youth Concussion Track at the Brain Injury Association of America-Maine Chapter’s 7th Annual Conference on Defining Moments in Brain Injury in Portland at the Abromson Community Education Center on the campus of the University of Southern Maine

Schedule: Conference – 7:30am to 4:30pm

MCMI Level 1: 9:30am to 1:00pm (Lunch will be provided at the second break)

MCMI Level 2: 1:30pm to 4:30pm

* Note: the keynote speaker from 8:15 to 9:15 is Ray Ciancaglini – a boxer from the mid 1960’s  speaking on how concussions have affected his life – “The Invisible Opponent”


Fee: $100 for all participants for the entire day
