Chloe Gilroy 14′

Chloe is from Pleasantville, NY and is pursuing a double major in Government and Latin American Studies. During the summer of 2012, she received a Walker Grant to work at an emergency shelter for undocumented immigrants in the city of El Paso,TX. Chloe will be returning to the border this January to conduct fieldwork for her honors thesis in Latin American Studies. During the fall of her junior year she interned with the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project in Portland, ME. While there, she helped Spanish-speaking immigrants file for Deferred Action. She also spent last semester studying abroad in Argentina, and had the opportunity to intern at an immigration advocacy center in downtown Buenos Aires.
