Alli Nolan 14′

Alli was born in Torrance, California and resides in South Paris, Maine. She is a senior Latin American Studies major with a minor in Education. She has worked extensively with English language learner programs and her sophomore year she received a Walker Grant to work as a teacher’s aide in a bilingual elementary school in Lennox, California. She spent her entire junior year abroad studying in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and in Salamanca, Spain. She is currently in the process of creating a documentary film that explores the rupture of the Cuban family resulting from Fidel Castro’s 1959 revolution. In the future, she would like to work in the non-profit sector. Specifically, she would like to work designing and implementing community development programs through educational means.
