CUSRR 2015 – July 23-24
Focused research and other scholarly activities abound on the Colby College campus during the summer months. These endeavors advance the levels of scholarship at Colby and strengthen the engagement between students and faculty. The Colby Undergraduate Summer Research Retreat serves as the capstone event to the summer experience on Mayflower Hill. All students involved in scholarly activity on campus are invited to participate in CUSRR. The first day of the event is dedicated to student scholarship – a symposium featuring student talks and posters followed by a keynote lecture in the evening. The second day features recreational activities – predominantly whitewater rafting.
The Colby Undergraduate Research Retreat takes place each year at Crab Apple Whitewater, located in The Forks, Maine, nestled on the Kennebec River. Crab Apple Whitewater is owned by Robert Peabody ’96.
