HBOT is the Latest Style in Hemoglobin

A cutting-edge therapy among medical professionals and scientists is HBOT, or Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. This therapy is used for the correction of/recovery from serious health conditions by administering pure oxygen at greater than atmospheric pressure to a patient. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy takes place in a pressurized chamber to increase tissue oxygen levels. Sounds relatively simple. So…how does oxygen heal?

HBOT delivers 10-15 times more oxygen than normal to the body. This dissolves oxygen into all the body’s fluids, providing a super dose of oxygen to areas of the body that need it the most. It’s like the hemoglobin, in hyper-drive!

The high doses of oxygen help build new capillaries, propel organ function, build connective tissue, etc.  HBOT gives the cerebrospinal fluids surrounding the brain and spinal cord oxygen, and this is why I have heard of HBOT. It is a key element of the Family Hope Center programs, the element they recommend for healing brain-injured children (They recommend it for everyone, actually). It’s also the most expensive component – My mother dreams about getting a Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber for my little sister to use every day. A chamber costs upwards of $10,000, but the results are proven to heal the brain, as well as the body.

Here is a video of the chamber:
