Inserting Images Inside Shapes

Let’s say that you want to create a shape that has a picture inside it:

Here’s how you do it…

Select where you want the image in your presentation.
Click on Insert> Shapes and select a star shape.

  1. Draw the star on the slide.
  2. Click on the star to select it.
  3. Right Click on the image
  4. Click on Format Shape > Picture or Texture Fill > File
  5. Browse and select the image you want and Click Insert
This will create your shape with the selected image inside it.
Once you have done this, you can change the shape if you want to adjust how much of the picture shows in the shape.

  1. Click on Drawing Tools > Picture To >Picture Shape

  2. Click on the shape you want.
The shape will change and the background picture will remain the same.
